Baker MCP

Use Baker from Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that supports MCP. Your assistant brings its own model; Baker brings its tools and what it knows about your company. Ask how your ads are doing, prepare changes and start new work without leaving the chat. Everything it prepares waits for you in Baker, and nothing goes live until you publish it there.

What it is

Baker MCP is a way into Baker from the assistant you already use. It doesn't replace Baker: it brings Baker's tools to your assistant, and sends what it prepares back to Baker for review.

You sign in once, as yourself
Your assistant connects with your own Baker account, the one you use at app.withbaker.com. You sign in on Baker's page and click Allow; your password never reaches the assistant.
It works in the companies you can open in Baker
Name the company you want to work on. If you work on several, your assistant can list them for you. Agencies see their clients; a client's own people see only their company.
Your role comes with you
If you can edit a company in Baker, your assistant can prepare changes there. If you can only view it, your assistant can read it but not change it. Baker checks this on every request.
It knows your company
Before it answers, your assistant reads what Baker knows about the company: its business, its brand, its goals and what your team asked Baker to always keep in mind.

What you can do

Talk to your assistant as you would to a colleague who has Baker open.

Ask about performance

Baker reads your Google Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads accounts live, your landings and forms in Baker, Google Analytics, HubSpot, your A/B tests and your Tasks. It can also research keywords, competitors and the web.

  • “How did Google Ads do last week compared with the week before?”
  • “Which Meta ads spend the most for the fewest leads?”
  • “What do people search before they find us?”

Prepare changes

Pause a campaign, change a budget, add keywords or new ads. Each change waits in To publish in Baker, marked as prepared from Claude or ChatGPT, and your assistant gives you the link to review it.

  • “Pause the LinkedIn campaigns that haven't brought a lead this month.”
  • “Add these five keywords to the brand campaign as exact match.”

Start new work

Ask for a new landing or a Form and Baker makes it in the background while you keep talking. Your assistant checks on it when you ask, and gives you the link to review it in Baker when it's ready.

  • “Make a landing for the spring sale, in the style of our home page.”
  • “Build a short Form that asks for company size before the demo booking.”

What stays in Baker

Nothing is published from your assistant
Your assistant can look things up and prepare changes, never publish them. You, or someone on your team, review and publish in Baker, where you see exactly what will change.
Large budget raises are confirmed in Baker
A budget raised to more than three times what it is now needs your yes in Baker, so a typo never multiplies your spend. Your assistant tells you where to give it.
Your changes stay together
Baker keeps one conversation for you, per company and per assistant. Everything you prepare there waits in one place in To publish, and you can keep going after you publish.

Connect your assistant

You need a Baker account with access to at least one company. Connecting takes about a minute, and you do it once per assistant.

Security and privacy

You sign in on Baker's page
Baker shows which assistant is asking and what it will be able to do, and nothing connects until you click Allow. You can sign in with the same methods you use for Baker.
What Baker sees
The requests your assistant sends to Baker. Baker doesn't see the rest of your conversation with your assistant.
What your assistant sees
What Baker answers it about the companies you can open, as your role allows. Like anything you share with an assistant, that reaches the assistant's own service under its terms.
Your role, checked every time
Baker checks who you are and what you can do in that company on every request. If your role changes or your access is removed, your assistant follows from its next request.
Revoke it any time
In Baker, open Account › Connected apps to see each assistant you allowed, when you allowed it and when it last worked. Click Revoke and it stops working as you from its next request. To use it again, connect Baker from the assistant again.
A person publishes
Nothing an assistant prepares goes live, or reaches your ad accounts, until someone on your team publishes it in Baker.

Questions

It can't find my company.
Your assistant sees only the companies you can open in Baker with the account you signed in with. Ask it to list your companies, and check that you connected the account you use in Baker. If the company still isn't there, ask your team in Baker to invite you to it.
It says I can only read.
You can view this company in Baker but not edit it, so your assistant can answer questions about it but not prepare changes. To prepare changes, ask someone on your team who can edit it in Baker.
Where do my changes go?
They wait in To publish in Baker, marked as prepared from Claude or ChatGPT, and your assistant gives you the link. Review them there and publish them when they're right, or discard them. Nothing is live until then.
Can my assistant publish for me?
No. Baker's tools have no way to publish. You, or someone on your team, publish in Baker.
How do I know when a landing or a Form is ready?
Baker doesn't message your assistant when it's done. Ask your assistant to check, or open To publish in Baker. If the work needs a decision from you, your assistant gives you the link to answer it in Baker.
It says the app isn't connected to Baker any more.
The access was revoked in Connected apps, or you haven't used it for 30 days. Connect Baker again from your assistant and sign in.
Are there limits?
One piece of new work (a landing, a Form) at a time per conversation. A budget raise to more than three times its current amount is confirmed in Baker. Your assistant lists up to 30 companies at a time; name any other one you can open. Baker's work uses your organization's Baker credits: if they run out, your assistant tells you to add credits in Baker.
Do I need a Baker account?
Yes. Baker MCP works with your Baker account, in the companies you already work on in Baker. New to Baker? Book a call and we'll set your company up.

Not on Baker yet?

Every company starts with a short call. We look at your accounts and show you what Baker would do first.
