Data Deletion

At Baker, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to request the deletion of your data from our systems, you can do so by following the process described below.
1. What Data Can Be Deleted
You can request the deletion of the following types of data associated with your account:
- Account information: name, email address, company name, role, phone number, and billing details
- Business data: ad account data, campaign performance metrics, and marketing assets connected to our platform
- Usage data: information about your interactions with our Services, including features used and actions taken
- Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers
2. How to Request Data Deletion
To request the deletion of your data, please send an email to privacy@withbaker.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the following information:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Your company name (if applicable)
- A description of the specific data you would like deleted, or confirmation that you want all data removed
3. Verification Process
For your security, we may need to verify your identity before processing your deletion request. We may ask you to confirm certain account details or provide additional identification to ensure that we are deleting data belonging to the correct individual.
4. Processing Timeline
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and aim to complete the deletion within 30 days. In some cases, the process may take longer due to technical or legal requirements. We will keep you informed of any delays.
5. Data We May Need to Retain
Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request in the following circumstances:
- Legal obligations: data required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal proceedings
- Fraud prevention: data necessary to detect, prevent, or investigate fraudulent activity
- Contractual obligations: data needed to fulfill outstanding contractual commitments (e.g., active subscriptions or pending invoices)
Any retained data will be kept only for as long as strictly necessary and will be deleted once the retention purpose has been fulfilled.
6. Consequences of Data Deletion
Please be aware that once your data is deleted:
- Your account and access to Baker services will be permanently deactivated
- All campaign data, performance metrics, and marketing assets will be irreversibly removed
- Any active subscriptions will be cancelled
- This action cannot be undone
7. Third-Party Data
If your data has been shared with third-party services (such as advertising platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, or LinkedIn), we will make reasonable efforts to notify those parties of your deletion request. However, you may also need to contact those platforms directly to request deletion of data they hold independently.
