# The AI agent that runs your Meta Ads on Facebook and Instagram

> Baker is a paid media agent that does the daily work of a Meta Ads account: new creatives, campaigns and ad sets, audiences, budgets and conversion tracking across Facebook and Instagram. It presents every change with its reason, and nothing reaches your account until someone on your team publishes it.

## What Baker does in Meta Ads every day

Baker checks your Meta Ads account every day and does the work it finds across Facebook and Instagram. It reads campaigns, ad sets and ads directly from Meta, compares them with your real sales, and prepares the changes worth making. Typical work in a week:

- **Move budget to what sells.** When one ad set brings sales at a lower cost, Baker moves budget to it and pauses the one that does not. For Honei, it paused a broad hospitality interests ad set and moved the budget to restaurant groups, from $40 to $120 a day.
- **Replace ads before they tire.** Baker watches for creative fatigue and makes new versions of the winner, with new hooks, for feed, stories and reels.
- **Launch campaigns.** A full campaign with its ad sets, targeting, budget, ads and tracking parameters, set up together.
- **Build audiences.** Customer lists from your CRM, lookalikes of your buyers, and targeting looked up by interest, job, location or language, with an estimate of how many people it reaches.
- **Run lead ads.** Instant forms on the ad, with each new lead sent on to HubSpot, a Google Sheet or your CRM.
- **Test and set rules.** Meta A/B tests between ad sets or creatives, and automated rules such as pausing any ad whose cost per result goes over your limit.
- **Report.** A weekly report on spend, results and cost per sale, and alerts when something breaks.

## Nothing goes live until you publish

Baker does the work, and a person on your team approves it. Every new ad, budget move and campaign waits in a review with the reason Baker made it, before and after. You approve it in one click, in Baker or in Slack.

When you publish, the changes apply to your real Meta account. If you discard the work, nothing changes. Meta also checks each change while Baker prepares it, so a change Meta would refuse shows up during the review, not after you publish.

## Sending real sales back to Meta

Meta finds more buyers when it learns from sales, not from clicks or form fills. Baker connects your CRM or store to Meta so the campaigns learn from what actually closed.

Leads from Baker's own forms reach Meta through the pixel and, once you add your Conversions API access, from the server too, so a blocked browser pixel does not lose them. With HubSpot, Baker watches the deal stages you care about and sends each one to Meta as a conversion, with who the person is and the amount. Nothing has to be built in HubSpot. For Product Hackers, a deal closed 41 days after the first click, and Baker sent the $12,000 sale to Meta and Google Ads, matched by email.

If your leads look good in Meta but rarely close, read [how to go from junk leads to closed deals](/blog/meta-ads-lead-quality-junk-leads-to-closed-deals) and our [Conversions API setup guide for lead gen](/blog/meta-conversions-api-capi-lead-gen-setup).

## Creatives and landing pages for Meta

On Meta, the creative does most of the targeting. Baker makes image and video ads in your brand, in every format Meta needs, built from what customers say and from the ads that already win for you. It makes UGC-style videos with an AI avatar too, and cuts a winner into a short version for stories.

Each ad can have its own landing page, in your brand, with a form that qualifies the lead. Baker can run an A/B test on the page and tell you which version brings more sales. For why creative volume matters more after Meta's Andromeda update, read [how Andromeda changes campaign strategy](/blog/meta-ads-andromeda-algorithm-2026).

## For agencies running many Meta accounts

An agency can run every client's Meta Ads from one place. Each client has its own ad accounts, Page, brand and Baker, and each person on your team sees only the clients you give them. Ask which client spent the most this week, or get one report for all of them.

New clients connect Meta with a setup link, without creating an account. See [Baker for agencies](/agency).

## Meta's own automation and Baker

Baker does not compete with Advantage+. It gives Meta better inputs and does the work around it.

| | Meta's automation (Advantage+) | Baker |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Who sees the ads | Decided by Meta | Left to Meta, with audiences and exclusions from your CRM |
| What it optimizes toward | The event the campaign is set to | Real sales and deals from your CRM, sent to Meta |
| New creatives | Varies the ones you upload | Makes new ads in your brand when the current ones tire |
| Landing pages | Not included | A page for each ad, tested |
| Budget across campaigns | Spends each campaign's budget | Moves budget to the campaigns that sell |
| Changes to your account | Applied as you set them | Nothing applies until you publish |

## Other channels Baker runs

Meta is often paired with search. Baker runs [Google Ads](/channels/google-ads) and [LinkedIn Ads](/channels/linkedin-ads) from the same place, and moves budget between channels when one sells better. For Founderz, leads from LinkedIn enrolled far more often than those from Meta, so Baker moved part of the weekly budget across.

## Questions

### How much does Baker cost for Meta Ads?

Baker's plans start at $500 a month (€500 in Europe), and every plan includes every platform, Meta Ads among them. Work is measured in credits: moving budget between ad sets takes 100 to 300 credits, and a static ad in every format 500 to 1,500. The starting plan includes 33,000 credits a month. Your ad spend is billed by Meta as usual. See /pricing for every plan.

### Can Baker launch ads or spend budget without my approval?

No. Every ad, budget change and new campaign waits for your approval, and it reaches your Meta account only when someone publishes it. Discard the work and nothing changes. Before you publish, Baker shows each change, and Meta's own check on it, so a change Meta would refuse is caught before it reaches you.

### What does Baker need access to?

Your Meta ad account, connected through Facebook's own sign-in, with the Facebook Page and Instagram account your ads run from. To optimize for real sales, connect your CRM (for example HubSpot) or your store too. You never paste passwords or tokens into a chat.

### How is Baker different from Meta Advantage+?

Advantage+ decides who sees your ads and where, inside Meta. Baker decides what goes in: the creatives, the conversion Meta optimizes for, and how budget splits across campaigns. It also makes the new ads Advantage+ needs to keep finding buyers, so the two work together.

### Does Baker make the ads too, or only manage campaigns?

Both. Baker makes image and video ads in your brand for feed, stories and reels, including UGC-style videos with an AI avatar, and builds them from what already sells for you. Then it sets them up in Meta and tells you when the current ads start to tire.

### Can an agency run many clients' Meta accounts in Baker?

Yes. Each client is its own company in Baker, with its own ad accounts, Page, brand and access, and you can ask about every client at once. Each company after the first costs $100 a month.
